Match summary
Potter Street struggled to find the motivation that their opponents had in this game. Potter Street needed to win or draw to finish the league in third place, however their opponents from the Watford area needed a win or draw to ensure first division football next season.

Potter Street took the lead through a rare phase of passing football that culminated in Neil Way setting up Dan Crook who scored his 11th goal in his 8th game this season. Croxley equalized through their top scorer (Gary Cox) when he ran onto a well weighted through ball and finished from the edge of the box. 1-1 at half-time.

Croxley took the lead in the second half when Potter Street's goalkeeper, Iain Huckett, made a save with his feet, but the ball fell to Croxley's right sided midfielder to slot home. Potter Street's second came as the result of another rare moment of attractive football and Mark Bellworthy's run behind the Croxley defence and square ball was finished by John-Paul Healey.

Croxley retook the lead from a corner when their centre back ghosted into the box at the back post and headed the ball back across the goal mouth for Gary Cox to head home. Potter Street equalized again when Dan's shot was parried by the Croxley 'keeper and Mark Bellworthy tapped home the rebound. Final score 3-3.

Match summary
Potter Street had the better of the early play and led 2-0 at half-time, Neil Way scoring the first with an edge of the box dipping shot, and Lloyd Osagie getting the second after Dan Crook pulled the ball back from the byline.

The second half started similarly and Dan Crook extended the margin to 3-0. Christ Church got one back with 20 minutes to play and the game became alive. Within 10 minutes the scores were level, although the equaliser came courtesy of a harsh penalty for handball. Soon afterwards an equally harsh penalty decision gave Potter Street the chance to retake the lead, but the Christ Church 'keeper saved Dan's spot-kick and he was unable to head home the rebound.

The biggest decision in the match came moments later, Andy Kitson lobbed the ball over the Christ Church defence to John-Paul Healey who controlled the ball on the penalty spot but before he could stroke the ball home we was taken out from behind. A penalty was awarded and then converted by John-Paul but no action was taken against the defender despite it being a clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity and a classic red card offence. With only minutes left on the clock Potter Street thought that they'd avoided the unthinkable, but they were wrong and a failed clearance in the last minute of the game saw a well struck shot nestle in the back of the net for a 4-4 final score and extra-time.

Christ Church took the lead in the early exchanges of extra-time, but the game could still have gone either way!

However, Potter Street were dealt a hefty blow at the start of the second period of extra time. Dalton Chamberlain made a tired, clumsy and heavy challenge that saw his foot play the top of the ball but onto the ankle of the Christ Church forward - despite Potter Street having no complaint with the eventual award of a red card, there is no excuse for the reaction of a number of Christ Church players that started a melee on the field of play. One player got away with slapping Dalton across the face (despite admitting doing so to the referee) and another got a booking for grabbing Dalton around the throat and then punching Robert Redington in the face. A small delegation even approached the referee to tell him that if he didn't send Dalton off he'd lose control of the game - something that Potter Street had managed to avoid doing ealrier! Dan Crook also justifiably received a second yellow in the aftermath of the melee and Potter Street were left with a two man disadvantage for the remaining ten minutes.

The nine men of Potter Street tried their best to take it to penalties but it was not to be!

An excellent first half performance saw Potter Street take a deserved two goal lead with goals from Mark Bellworthy and Dan Crook. Romans struggled to get into the game, however a goal on the counter attack just before half-time gave Romans the impetus to come out in the second half and score two more unanswered goals to continue their run of wins against their visitors.

Match summary
A pleasing Potter Street performance to ensure they make the final of the Plate for the third time in succession.

Milton Keynes played well but Potter Street played with confidence and opened the scoring through Mark Bellworthy who finished with aplomb after a slick passing move from midfield. Milton Keynes equalized from a free-kick, though there was an element of good luck to it as the ball bounced back off of the cross bar to hit makeshift 'keeper Andy Kitson on the back and roll over the line. Potter Street upped the tempo and retook the lead through Captain Neil 'shearer' Way who found the net for the first time since 15th December 2007.

The second half was all Potter Street and two early goals, for Man of the Match Dan Crook, saw Milton Keynes' heads drop. Two own goals from the away team robbed Dalton Chamberlain of a possible brace, but ensured that Potter Street enjoyed their biggest victory in a competitive game since 21st April 2007.

A one-sided game with only two goals, but another three points to give Potter Street a very small slither of hope in the race for the league title - Cornerstone's far superior goal difference means that they only need a draw in either of their two remaining games to clinch the title.

Match summary
Potter Street made hard work of this cup tie, going behind early in the first half, then equalizing through a David Chamberlain long shot. Then taking the lead with a quickly taken Dan Crook free-kick that saw the 'keeper out of position; then conceding again to take the match to extra-time. Potter Street's superiority finally took affect during extra-time and Steve Cody gave them the lead before Robert Redington scored a probable goal of the season and another to take them to the final whistle with comfort.

Match summary
An avoidable own goal gave Potter Street the half-time advantage in this relatively tight match played on a heavy pitch. The Christ Church goalkeeper pulled off a few first half saves to keep the score 1-0 at half-time. The second half saw even less goal mouth action than the first had seen, but Mark Bellworthy made one break late on as Christ Church pushed for the equaliser and finished from the edge of the box. The only other point of note was Paul Surridge's contender for miss of the season as he broke from half way to latch on to a through ball, but with only the 'keeper to beat he sliced his shot wide.

Match summary
An amusingly obvious foul on Iain Huckett was disregarded for Welwyn's first goal before Steve Cody scored two to take Potter Street into the break with a 2-1 scoreline. At some point amongst the multiple changes that took place for both teams in the second half Welwyn scored the equalizer to ensure that both teams got just reward for their efforts on a partially frozen pitch.

A scrappy yet fully deserved victory where the goalkeeper won the man of the match award without having to make a save of any particular note. Match summary
Our first ever County Cup win in our 4th season of entering.

This wasn't as comfortable a win as the scoreline suggests, but a 5 minute purple patch in the first half saw Potter Street score 3 goals to take a healthy lead (Trevor Dennis with a long range effort and Steve Cody with 2 poachers goals). Dynamo Botley did reply with a goal before the end of the half, but John-Paul's goal in the 2nd half put the game to rest and despite some wasteful possession Potter Street seldom looked like conceding.

A winning debut at our new home pitch in Harlow.

The main highlight of the game was Robert Redington's goal. This came as the result of a quickly taken Andy Clark free-kick from near the half-way line which accurately picked out Rob on the edge of the box; he brought the ball down with a good first touch and rifled the ball home.
